Why do we have fundraisers?

To help offset the cost for Summer Camp, Camping Trips, Purchase New Supplies, Maintenance of Existing Equipments and much more.

How many fundraisers are there?

Typically, two. We sell Christmas Wreathes and Christmas Trees during the holiday period.

Why two fundraisers?

The Christmas Wreathes is mainly to support the scouts Summer Camp. If the scout sells 6 wreathes he will get $50 discount off the cost of Summer Camp. In addition, the scout will get $5 dollars added to their Scout Account for each wreath sold. The scout can use the funds in their Scout Account for anything related to scouting (ie. personal camping equipment, Camping Fees, Merit Badge Fees, etc.)

The Christmas Tree Sale is to support the cost of running the Troop. Scouts and Parents must assist at the Christmas Tree Lots during the Thanksgiving to Christmas Day time frame. We operate 3 Christmas Tree Lots each year and it requires everyones help to successfully complete this fundraiser.
