We thought the rainbow at line-up before the trip was a good sign. It just meant we had rain for the next 22 hours....

Set-up camp in the rain, cook in the rain (except the adults, so unfair!), build our battle ships in the rain....

When the time arrived on Saturday to load our ammunition (water baloons) and launch our ships to sea (or the lake), the sun was out and everyone was ready to put forth the effort!

And the battle was fought hard -- and we came in second.  But we did win the overall Camporee spirit award. Another great weekend battling and making friends with our fellow Scouts!
